The public trust operating Pushmataha Hospital filed for bankruptcy Friday. The Antlers, Okla.-based hospital is the seventh rural hospital in the state to file for bankruptcy since 2011, according to The Oklahoman.
Hospital CEO Nick Rowland told The Oklahoman Pushmataha Hospital will remain open as it works to resolve outstanding debt. “We will continue treating and caring for the citizens of Pushmataha County during the reorganization process just as we have always done,” he said.
