What are the symptoms of sepsis?

There is no single sign or symptom of sepsis. It is, rather, a combination of symptoms from the infection that can include fever, diarrhea, vomiting, sore throat, redness and swelling of the skin, cough, etc. associated with:

· Shivering, fever, or coldness

· Extreme pain or general discomfort

· Pale or discolored skin

· Sleepiness, difficulty waking up, confusion

· I feel like I might die

· Shortness of breath
