Man stranded after being dropped at Indiana ER

From the Chicago Tribune:

ANGOLA, Ind. – Authorities are investigating why a 46-year-old man was reportedly left at an Angola hospital emergency room by caretakers at a facility about 20 miles away where he was living.

The Herald-Republican reports Gregory George was left Monday at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital and stayed the week with around-the-clock care in an examination room at the emergency room.

Cameron spokeswoman Laura Lutterbeck says George was evaluated and soon cleared for release, but when the hospital contacted Wesley Healthcare Center in Auburn it was told he wouldn’t be readmitted.
