From WIBW:
Topeka Police Lt. Mackey said Sunday morning (8/26) that a car carrying the gunshot victim showed up at about 4 a.m. to the St. Francis E.R. His friends were in a car behind the vehicle he was in, following him to the hospital. The driver of that car, Mackey said, was apparently driving too fast through the intersection of 6th & Garfield, and hydroplaned into a road sign.
The gunshot victim reportedly had minor injuries after being shot in the backside. Officers say all the men were uncooperative in their investigation of how, when and where the shooting took place.
