insurance going up 25 percent; insurer blames emergency room visits

Leflore County’s health insurance costs are going up 25 percent and the insurer says it’s because of employees’ visits to the emergency room for problems as trivial as poison ivy.

The Greenwood Commonwealth reports (http://bit.ly/P5vL7a ) the county’s health insurance company paid $6 out in claims for every $1 the county put in.
