Rule changes that would allow Mountain View Regional Hospital to close its emergency room are awaiting review from the head of the Wyoming Department of Health.
State licensure rules require hospitals to operate an emergency department. Under the rule changes, surgical or rehabilitation therapy hospitals won’t be subject to the requirement.
