Luck apparently ran out for several intoxicated individuals, who ended up behind bars over St. Patrick’s weekend.
The Pleasanton Police Department reported six arrests for suspected public intoxication and five for drunken driving between Friday and Sunday — numbers more typically spread out over a week in Pleasanton.
Two of the individuals were so inebriated they required emergency-room treatment prior to their jail bookings, police said.
