The provincial Tories and the family of a woman who collapsed on her doorstep and died after being sent home late at night from a hospital emergency room are calling for an inquest into her death.
“This was a colossal breakdown in care at so many levels,” said Tory health critic Myrna Driedger.
Heather Brenan, 68, died on Jan. 28 after she was sent home at 11 p.m. the night before from Seven Oaks General Hospital by cab with no house keys.
